In addition, the lease on the Eardisley Surgery building has been extended from 3 to 6 years.

Meeting held 12th April 2010
An extremely well attended public meeting on 12th April heard that Eardisley Surgery is safe, at the moment. However, the future of our surgery is very much tied in with proposals for a new Kington Medical Centre. These proposals must be supported to ensure the long term future of surgery facilities in Kington, Pembridge and Eardisley.
Herefordshire Council Planning Department need to be made aware of residents’ support for this proposal.  If you are interested in the future of Eardisley Surgery you do need to write to them quoting Application Reference No. DMNW/100261/F at:
The Regeneration Directorate, Herefordshire Council, PO Box 230, Hereford. HR1 2ZB Please mark your envelope: FAO Ms Kelly Gibbons.
A sample letter can be viewed/downloaded here. Please read it as it provides some further background information. Feel free to copy the sample, amend it or use it in any way to produce your own letter.
However, to really make an impact on the Planning Committee please copy your letter to ALL members of the Planning Committee. If, in advance of their meeting each committee member has evidence of your support they will be in a far better position to back the planning application for the new Kington Medical Centre. Planning Committee Members are listed here.
