Eardisley Flower Show

EARDISLEY SHOW takes place this year on Bank Holiday Monday - AUGUST 29th – Don’t Forget!!!

Since 1868 there has always been an Eardisley Show.  In 1961, however, the Show was in danger of folding with only £30 in the Bank.  John Powell took over and this year 2011, marks his 50^th year with Eardisley Show.

Since then the Show has gone from strength to strength where locals and visitors can meet and enjoy a traditional Village Show atmosphere. This year there is lots going on from Pig Racing, Fun Dog Show, Vintage Vehicles, Show Jumping and Gymkhana Classes, Children's Races, Clay Pigeon Shoot and much more.  You can also enjoy home made cakes and tea whilst browsing over the excellent entries in the Horticultural, Domestic and Children's Classes in the Village Hall.  So if you are looking for somewhere to go on August Bank Holiday Monday, why not come along and share in John's special anniversary.
