Open Gardens in Eardisley - June 2010

Eardisley held an Open Gardens weekend on the 26th and 27th June 2010. The sunny weather set off the 20 open gardens brilliantly.

Visitors enjoyed conversations with the gardeners - hints were exchanged and the admiration was palpable. Lunches in the Village Hall and teas in several gardens went down a treat. Plants were bought, exhibitions in the church were scrutinised and Sunday's Magic Show was a big success.

Quote of the weekend: "I wish I could stay at the bottom of this garden all day - it is so beautiful, the scent is lovely, the bees are humming and I feel so restful".
