Eardisley Walkers

This is a newly established informal group based on Eardisley and offering regular walks of varying lengths. It is co-ordinated by Dave Bennett - 01544 327598 or dbennett195@btinternet.com

From The Tram at 2.45 on Sunday 26 February, I propose walking up to Hobby Lyons, across to the church, Eardisley Park over to the Great Oak down to the road where we can split up as people return home by preferred routes. The Herefordshire Trail section from the Great Oak/Chapel down to the road has been improved beyond recognition. New stiles rather than gates but even so....This walk takes in all the new developments.

I will be leading walks regularly from the Rohan shop Hay-on-Wye. Let the shop know if you want to be on their mailing list (01497 - 822540). There is a Beacons Way, 100 mile walk in April.

The campaign to improve the footpaths around the village continues...it's a long story.

Any ideas on how to move forward are welcomed.
