Welcome to Eardisley Group’s website!

We’ve designed the site to offer up-to-date information and contacts for residents and for visitors to the area.  Here’s what you will find:

There are descriptions of each of the three villages – Eardisley, Whitney-on-Wye and Winforton – giving a bit of history and a quick modern view of each.  The three villages grew from different roots and are still very different from each other now.  Each village section includes pages relating to its key activities and community buildings. 

This part of Herefordshire is a beautiful place to live and is appreciated by people on holiday too.  But it remains a largely undiscovered part of the country, despite the River Wye, the unusual Romanesque Font in Eardisley Church and the Black and White Trail, all of which attract visitors every year. 

There is a Group Parish Council section in which residents will find Council ‘hot news’ items and Councillors’ names, as well as a general description of what the EGPC does.  The current agenda and recent minutes are available too.

‘What’s On’ provides both residents and visitors with a comprehensive list of current events during this month and in the months ahead.  We hope that this will take headache out of choosing a date for event organisers.

The Group Directory lists services, organisations and businesses within the 3 parishes, with contact numbers and links to other websites where available.  It’s a good way of finding the tradesperson you need or the group you’d like to join!

And last, there’s the contact page where you can email various people and send additions or changes for this website.  You can also give us feedback about this site.
